Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on 31 October 1979. Her most famous role was as her role as deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy TV series Eureka. Cerra is born of Italian origin who was raised in Vancouver in British Columbia. Cerra was fascinated by acting at the age of eight years old and was featured in many commercials as a child. In the following years, she took a hiatus from acting. When she was 22, at the age of 22, she returned. Cerra was ranked among Vancouvers five hottest up-and-coming actresses in Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra was a part of the show Deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy show that aired between 2006 and 2012. In 2006, she also was the main character on the Michael Buble music video Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra has been credited as having prominent roles on several popular and critically acclaimed TV series, including Battlestar Galactica and The L Word. Also, she has appeared in big movies such as Man About Town featuring Ben Affleck alongside Rebecca Romijn or Blade:Trinity which was a film starring Wesley Snipes. Her body and facial features was used as a model for Ashley Williams, a character from her role in the Mass Effect video game franchise. The actress also appears on Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff as well in Dead Like Me. In addition, she's appeared in the Canadian crime-drama Cold Squad and Special Unit 2 as well the supernatural thriller The Collector. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.

Khondabi wrote that she as well as Joey were the best of friends at Greenwood Christian School for years prior to their relationship beginning in their senior year in high school. Howard went to Irmo which is where he attended Dutch Fork High School. Howard as well as Khondabi had been friends for a number of years before they started dating. Oakland Elementary, where I taught at the time, had a program for news called WOAK. Khondabi shared with us that when she finished college in Augusta Georgia, WAGT was her first newscast on television. Khondabi said she was in the news for about six years. In the months following Augusta I was a reporter anchoring WOWK at Charleston West Virginia and then Columbus Ohio.
